Job Description:

• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
• Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers
• Be updated of latest market trends / sources for goods and materials seasonal supplies
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance
• Assess tenders and quotations from potential suppliers
• Prepare purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and in line with organisational targets and requirements
• Work closely with internal departments for daily orders and
• Responsible in tracking and receiving of orders
• Perform physical stock count at month end together with accounting department
• Reconcile differences between book records and physical quantities.
