Job Description:

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Cyprus or Selenium.
• Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs and issues through JIRA or similar tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure automation coverage is integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
• Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
• Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine the breakdown source.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA automation perspective.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members on best practices in test automation.
