Role and Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify materials and construction activities to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct testing on construction materials such as concrete, reinforcement, and aggregates, and review laboratory results.
- Monitor workmanship during construction activities to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Create plans to ensure that construction processes meet quality standards.
- Regularly inspect construction activities and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop detailed plans for how specific tasks will be carried out to ensure quality.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and any issues found.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Prepare and submit quality-related documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and Material Approval Requests (MARs).
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly quality progress reports for project stakeholders.
- Work closely with other engineers and construction teams to identify potential issues and implement improvements.
- Make sure that all construction activities comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Provide regular updates to management on the quality status of the project.
