Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the collection of outstanding accounts receivable, following up with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, including payment history, outstanding balances, and contact information.
3. Collaborate with the Sales team to resolve any billing or invoicing issues that may arise, ensuring accurate and timely customer billing.
4. Work closely with the Accounting department to ensure the accurate recording of all customer payments and adjustments.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including accounts receivable aging reports, to provide insight into the company’s financial performance.
6. Collaborate with the account & finance manager to develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding accounts receivable.
Qualifications:
1. High school degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Demonstrated experience in a sales or finance role, preferably within the paint industry.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
5. Commitment to maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism.
