Job Description

• Sound financial analytical skills and commercial awareness
• Manage a backup recovery engineering team and/or outside consultants to architect and design enterprise backup and recovery solutions within business and commercial guidelines
• Raise required ServiceNow tickets, Request for Services (Rfs) and liaise with external vendors (e.g IBM, HP) to conduct analysis on DR capabilities of applications, perform DR test execution, provide test documentation and post-DR issues analysis and resolution, and Retests of failed applications
• Maintains a library of recovery support documentation, emergency response documentation, and exercise (testing) documentation
• Acts as the Recovery Coordinator in an emergency situation
• Negotiates and maintains contractual relationships with vendors related to business recovery and resumption
• Studies and recommends outside services for use during a disaster
• Works with all business units to ensure that as new equipment, facilities, services, and systems are installed that the disaster recovery issues are addressed
• Participates in internal and external audits related to the organization’s ability to recover from a disaster
• Coordinate annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) across the business by team.

Job Requirements

• At least 5-6 years in recovery field
• Bachelor or Master's completed
• Relevant technical and management experience at a similar level/ in a similar role
• Ability to develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge.
