• Bachelors or Masters in any of the mentioned fields: Curatorial Studies, Media and Communications, Arts & Design, Architecture, Landscape & Urban Planning, Museum Studies, Archiving / Archival Science, Nepali History, Culture & Archeology, Tourism, Business Administration, and other related/relevant fields 
• Minimum 1 year of work and experience in research and writing, organizing outreach events, running educational projects, or marketing and communications
• Knowledge of Nepali architecture, history, culture, craft traditions, and art is preferred 
• The candidate should show a keen interest in working with various professionals in the field 
• Clear written and verbal communication skills (Nepali and English).

Job Description

• Researching, designing, and organizing exhibitions and outreach programs to activate and promote the archive collections and encourage the community members to explore and learn about their heritage and history
• Developing marketing campaigns for the archive’s outreach programs
• Collaborating with local media to promote the archive’s initiatives and causes
• Documenting and cataloging the archive’s projects and initiatives for future references
• Carrying out research projects to engage with the educational institutions, scholars, and heritage professionals
• Engaging in the acquisition, documentation, promotion, and use of the archive’s collection
• Identifying and applying for research and collection management grants 
• Identifying and participating in international conferences and programs to forward the goals and projects carried out by the institution
• Creating exciting content and updating the archive’s online portfolio (website and social media profiles).
• Preparing and sharing weekly progress reports.
