Type: Entry Level Full-time (6 months with possible extension).
Location: Kathmandu with frequent travel to the field.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the projects being implemented by FDM.
- Assist in the planning/finalizing of evaluation approach for projects.
- Visit the field to undertake Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIs).
- Draft evaluation reports with support from Team Leader and Sectoral Experts.
- Ensure quality of the projects led under the supervision of the Team Leader.
Skills and qualifications:
- Bachelors in Social Work, Rural Development, Development Studies, Sociology, Gender, and Development Studies or Public Policy.
- A minimum of one year of experience having worked in research or M&E projects.
- Ability to design sampling approach, analyze and interpret statistical data as well as draft reports.
- Good command over analytical software including SPSS/Excel.
