Education:

• Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Development Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management or a related area is required. Or
• A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience:

• Applicants with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field of study are not required to have professional work experience. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) are required to have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in risk/project management or audit or associated advisory services in public or private sector is a requirement;
• Knowledge and experience of UNDP policies and procedures, social and environment screening standards, enterprise risk management is an asset.
• Experience of monitoring data for risk assessment is required.
• Experience of developing and monitoring the SES implementation plan in large organizations is an asset.
• Experience in designing and delivering training is highly desirable;
• Experience in working with data sets, data visualization tools e.g., PowerBi and experience in handling of web-based management systems is required.
• Experience with ERP systems e.g., Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft or similar is required.

Language:

• Fluency in English and Nepali is required.
  Please note that continuance of appointment beyond the initial 12 months is contingent upon the successful completion of a probationary period.
