Senior Research and Development (R&D) Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new pharmaceutical products from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct research to improve existing formulations and develop new drug delivery systems.
- Stay updated on the latest scientific advancements and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Manage R&D projects, including planning, execution, and timely delivery of results.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
- Prepare and present project reports, including research findings, progress updates, and recommendations.
- Ensure all R&D activities comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of research activities and results.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documents as required.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers and R&D staff.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the R&D team.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
- Conduct stability studies and other tests to ensure product efficacy and safety.
- Address any quality issues that arise during the development process.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Pharma preferred specialization in Industrial Pharma or a related field.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical research and development, with a strong track record of successful product development.
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical formulations, drug delivery systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
