Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires and trains employees.
- Oversees the day-to-day workflow and assignments of service staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Functional Responsibilities:
- Oversees and when necessary, may perform customer service functions.
- Supervises and when necessary, assists with administrative services related to automobile repairs.
- Prepares and maintains operating reports.
- Monitors inventory, and orders supplies, tools, when needed.
- Schedules and arranges necessary maintenance for the service center.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent managerial and leadership skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare operating reports and to reconcile records.
- Extensive knowledge of automobile repair with ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
Recruitment Qualifications:
- Master/Bachelor degree in management, accountancy, or related field.
- At least two years of related experience working in a service center in a supervisory position.
- Completion of the mechanical training program is desired.
