Umanga Creation has become a leader in Nepal’s pageantry fraternity, building a strong brand foundation for Miss Universe Nepal within just 2 years. We are looking for a creative Social Media Manager focused on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media channels. The role requires strong and intimate knowledge of the social media landscape, strategic initiatives, project management, content development, and copywriting. Job responsibilities: - Using social media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand - Create content including photography and/or designing imagery for social media channels. - Develop strategies for content creation, optimize social media campaigns, increase engagement and ROI, and build brand awareness. - Manage and grow MUN presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. - Innovate new and creative ways to tell stories, empower advocates, heighten the candidates/winners’ experience, connect with alumni, and grow awareness. - Oversee and coordinate the photo/video team, including Content Creator and Resident Photographer, during MUN events. - Prepare and deliver periodic and ad hoc reports containing metrics and analytics. Setting KPIs for social media campaigns and measuring campaign performance. - Working with other departments to align marketing, PR, and content strategy with social media strategy. Job requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, PR, or related discipline. - At least 2 years of social media experience for a brand or agency along with photography and/or graphic design experience. - Excellent written, content creation, and communication skills. - Advanced knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their communities, and how they can be deployed in various initiatives. - Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite.
