• A formal engineering qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, Masters) – Electrical
• 3+ years’ experience with a contractor or Engineering consultancy
• Site experience including testing and commissioning
• Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
• Experience in a supervisory position
• Able to work under pressure and in remote areas.
• Good ability with engineering calculations and design reports
• High proficiency in M365 and SharePoint
• Able to work to tight deadlines and self-manage priorities against multiple tasks
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• IELTS B1 / B2 English language written & spoken.

Job Description:

• Solar PV electrical power systems (AC and DC) Implementation
• Experience of testing and fault finding to component level
• Practical knowledge of earth nest and HV testing  
• Creation of technical documents and reports associated with various projects
• Outline and detailed design and specification of Solar and electrical power projects 
• An awareeness of the civil and mechanical interfaces.
• Work as part of a team to suggest improvements which will benefit our clients.

Shift Work:

• The post will be required to undertake some shift work (early or late) 
• Weekend work will be required regularly 
• Overtime will be paid where appropriate.
