Location: Jagdamba Steels Factory ( Simara, Bara)
 

Job Overview: The Store Officer manages daily operations at the central store of Jagdamba Steels Factory in Simara, Bara. This role ensures efficient material handling, inventory management, timely availability for production, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure that materials are stored in a systematic manner. Update the inventory management system regularly.
• Material Handling & Documentation: Oversee the receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials. Ensure proper documentation, including GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and stock registers.
• Coordination with Departments: Collaborate with production, procurement, and quality departments to ensure the timely supply of materials as per production schedules. Liaise with vendors for material deliveries.
• Quality Control & Inspection: Ensure that incoming materials meet quality specifications and standards. Coordinate with the quality assurance team for inspections and resolve any discrepancies.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards in the store area. Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Team Supervision: Manage a team of store assistants and warehouse staff, assign tasks, and monitor their performance. Provide training and guidance to enhance the team’s productivity and efficiency.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular reports on stock status, slow-moving items, and inventory valuation. Assist in budgeting and forecasting material requirements based on production needs.

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor/Master Degree.

Experience: At least 3 Years in related Field.
