Qualifications:
- A degree or diploma in media and communication, climate science, journalism, disaster risk management,
- information technology, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates or young professionals with relevant knowledge and skills are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrated ability to produce innovative and high-quality audio, video, and digital media content.
- Skilled in various aspects of production, including content development, recording, and post-production
- processes.
- Proven track record of guiding teams to create compelling content tailored for local audiences.
- Proficient in developing training programs that cater to a variety of learning styles.
- Capable of working autonomously and effectively managing time, even when faced with competing
- deadlines.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken Nepali.
- Understanding of Nepal's media landscape and its developmental role.
- Experience using media for developmental objectives would be added advantage.
- Familiarity with Nepal's demographic and ethnic diversity, including local languages.
Location: The position will be based in seven provinces, with one mentor selected from each of the following districts. Regular travel to Kathmandu will be required:
- Koshi Province (Illam and Jhapa)
- Madhesh Province (Dhanusha and Mahottari)
- Bagmati Province (Kathmandu and Sindhupalchowk)
- Gandaki Province (Baglung and Myagdi)
- Lumbini Province (Banke and Bardiya)
- Karnali Province (Surkhet and Dailekh)
- Sudurpaschim Province (Kailali and Kanchanpur).
