Job Description:

  • Support the principal in managing the school’s daily operations and decision-making.
  • Oversee curriculum development, ensure alignment with educational standards, and provide guidance to teachers for instructional strategies.
  • Supervise and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff, providing feedback and support for professional development.
  • Handle disciplinary issues, enforce school policies, and manage student behavior to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Act as a mentor for teachers, helping them improve instructional methods and classroom management.
  • Assist in managing schedules, school budgets, and resources to ensure smooth school operations.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and parents, attending meetings, addressing concerns, and promoting positive communication.
  • Oversee and support extracurricular programs, school events, and student activities.
  • Ensure the school adheres to local, state, and federal educational laws and policies.
  • Help create and maintain a safe school environment by implementing safety policies and emergency procedures.
  • Participate in developing and implementing school improvement plans and long-term strategies for student achievement.
  • Analyze student performance data to inform decisions regarding instruction, intervention programs, and resource allocation.
  • Organize and support professional development opportunities for staff members.
  • Mediate conflicts between students, staff, and parents, promoting positive and productive resolutions.
