Bajhang, Nepal<p> </p> <p><strong>Project Officer – Resilient Livelihoods (Woman only)</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Bajhang</p> <p> </p> <p>The main purpose of this position is to take overall management of the livelihoods project “SRIJANA-II; Youth Employability” and to contribute to the implementation of UMN’s cluster strategy, technical backstopping in Livelihoods and Economic Development theme, relationship-building, and new concept development.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Science, or Development Studies or relevant discipline with a minimum of five years of working experience in rural entrepreneurship development.</li> <li>Strong experience in agro and non-agro based enterprises scale-ups that support poverty alleviation.</li> <li>Experience and knowledge in networking, and partnership with the community, local government, service providers, and financial institutes for rural enterprise development are strongly desirable.</li> <li>Strong experience in project implementation including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, developing proposals, and sustainability.</li> <li>Computer knowledgeable with e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet experience.</li> <li>Cross-cultural work experience preferred.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills both in Nepali and English.
