Duty station: Taplejung; Gorkha; Dolpa; Rukum-East; Jumla and Mugu; Humla & Bajura; and Darchula and Bajhang.   Duration: 5 years, with six months’ probation period.   The Forest Officer is responsible for the efficient and timely execution of the project activities at district/s level. S/he will look after 1 to 2 of the above-mentioned districts, and will work under and report to Project Manager.   Key Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Liaise with district line agencies viz: Division Forest Offices, Park Offices, FECOFUN district chapters, NTFPs traders, trade associations, harvesters etc. for effective implementation of activities;</li> <li>Organize and facilitate different surveys, assessments, researches, workshops, trainings and meetings in the district/s, including the exposure visits.
